WHY COLUMBIA TRAIL RACE?

THE COLUMBIA TRAIL RUN RACE EXISTS TO INTRODUCE TRAIL RUNNING TO SAUDI ARABIA'S GROWING OUTDOOR COMMUNITY. BY PARTNERING WITH DISCOVER ASEER, WE AIM TO SHOWCASE THE BREATHTAKING NATURAL TERRAIN OF ASEER TO BOTH LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL RUNNERS IN A SAFE, STRUCTURED, AND MEMORABLE SETTING.

OUR GOAL IS SIMPLE: CONNECT PEOPLE TO NATURE, TO CULTURE, AND TO EACH OTHER — THROUGH THE SHARED LANGUAGE OF RUNNING. THIS INAUGURAL EVENT IS THE FIRST STEP IN ESTABLISHING A LONG-TERM TRAIL RUNNING SERIES ACROSS SAUDI ARABIA'S MOST ICONIC LANDSCAPES.
